Conditions: Brutal gusting cross-headwind throughout the day. Sunny and cool.
Comments: Teams competing: St. Andrew's School (SAS), Wilson, Bethesda Chevy Chase (BCC), Lawrenceville, Madison, and Walt Whitman. Thanks to all the teams and spectators for their enthusiasm and good racing. The high wind made the start area very challenging. Several of the novice boats were not able to safely get to the platforms, and thus they did a "race experience" - building off the paddle for about 1100m of pressure. Lawrenceville V8 was most impressive in its race.
