Distance: Just over 1100 meters Conditions: Tailwind earlier in the day against the current. There was rain throughout most of the racing. Comments: Due to the threat of thunderstorms, we moved the race course closer to our boathouse. This made us have to break into heats for most races. In the novice boys race between Choate and LOL, they were neck and neck until the last 200 meters when Choate caught an over the head crab stopping them dead in the water. The race was run again later in the day. Thanks to the visiting crews for great racing and making for some crews the long trip to New Milford.
