Distance: 1500 m
Conditions: Strong quartering tail wind (from the northeast) for all races; slightly stronger for 3V race, which also featured rain. Moderately choppy water. All races with an outgoing tide, making for quick times.
Comments: Order of races: 2V, 1V, 3V. In the 1V race, Southfield's bow seat had her oar come out of the rigger with 150 meters left in the race. At that point, they were approximately 2 boat lengths of open water behind Lincoln. They finished the race with only the stern pair rowing.
