High School/Scholastic: St. Paul's School (boys' eights) vs. Phillips Exeter Academy
May 17, 2014; Turkey Pond Concord, NH

Submitted by Colin Campbell.

Distance: 1500m
Conditions: 75, sunny, light shifting winds that were sometimes tail, sometimes cross, and sometimes head. Varying conditions and floating starts made the race speeds inconsistent.
Comments: *SPS-4 6 man jumped his seat at 500m gone, knocked the seat off the tracks, and couldn't get it back on. At this point, SPS was one length down on PEA, but after the 6 man lost his seat SPS could no longer compete. Thank you for Exeter for making the trip over and for the excellent racing. Exeter retains the Richard F. Davis Cup, awarded to the program that wins the majority of the boys' and girls' interscholastic races.
