Conditions: Consistent 15-20mph tailwind with significant chop that increased towards the finish. Racing order was B5, B2, B3, B4, B1.
Comments: In the Boys 1st boat race, the Gunnery's 3-seat top nut loosened, fell off and his oar lock came off the pin at the 400m mark. He stopped, recovered and the boat continued. The boat rowed the final 1100m without the top nut connected. At the time of the breakage Gunnery was half a length down on Taft and 3 seats ahead of Berkshire.
In the Boys 5th boat race, the Berkshire 6th boat caught an over the head crab 200m into the race. The crew recovered the crab and continued to race.
