Conditions: Ripping cross wind all day; diminished slightly by the varsity race.
Comments: Teams competing were St. Andrews's School (SAS), Walt Whitman (WW), Bonner, West Springfield (WS), Bethesda Chevy-Chase (BCC), and Ocean City (OC). A very windy day with strong, crossing gusts. The water itself was not too rough since the race course has high banks that gave some protection. Teams handled a challenging start very well. In the 3rd 8, WW had equipment breakage during the race.
