Conditions: A variable headwind at the beginning of the day; turned much stronger and steadier as the racing progressed towards the varsity boats. Light rain throughout the day. All in all, the misery index was set fairly high.
Comments: Teams competing were Holy Spirit (HS), St. Albans (STA), St. Andrew's School (SAS), TC Williams, and Washington & Lee (WL). The very strong winds made racing challenging today. The boys 3rd 8 race had to be stopped and restarted at the mid point due to clashing oars and so no result or time is posted. In the varsity race, Holy Spirit raced a sharply and took the win in a close fought battle.
