Comments: All boats began racing at the same time from staggered starts. The novice crews started in the front of the pack and the more experienced crews lined up behind. The varsity 8+ boats were furthest back. Drexel and Lehigh collided in the first 100m of the women’s varsity 8+ race and came to a dead stop, putting them five-six boat lengths of open water behind.
