Conditions: Finally a beautiful, flat, warm day on the Charles River! Slight headwind, strong head current.
Comments: Comments: Great early-season racing from all crews! Racing order 2, 1, 3, 4. Special thanks to the 3rd four from Lincoln for agreeing to race a second time against Newton's 4th boat.
In the 3rd boat race, a boat traveling in the other direction veered into Lincoln's lane, causing the Lincoln 3rd boat to stop momentarily. While this interference likely affected the margin in the 3rd boat race, it did not affect the finishing order.
3rd boats started approx. 2 lengths over the line.
