Distance: 2000m
Conditions: Sunny and 70 degrees. 15-25 mph headwind with moderate to heavy chop. Course calmed down some in the last 1000m. Wake from pleasure boaters present in most races, but did not affect order of finish.
Comments: Beautiful day at Lake Lanier. Challenging but fair conditions on the course. Rocket City and GPS raced some small boats after the eights and Varsity/LW 4s, and those results are not noted here. This was the first meeting between the three programs in the regular season. Thanks to all rowers, parents, coaches, and Lake Lanier Rowing Club for making it a success.
