Distance: approx 1900m
Conditions: Order of events: 1V8, 3V8/N8, 2V8, 1V4, 2V4. Slight crosswind became flat calm. Normal San Diego sun and warmth!
Comments: Both schools followed the DII NCAA format; the first priority crew was the 1V8, the second priority crew was the V4. In the V4 race SDSU was leading by a couple of seats of open water when the UCSD crew accidentally started paddling well before the actual finish line.
