Distance: 1775 Meters
Conditions: crews races upstream into a strong head current. Strong head wind for entire morning, relatively calm water. Floating start. Some crews were pushed farther back during alignment, so times vary quite a bit from race to race.
Comments: *In the Men's V8 race, Lehigh B and F&M clashed blades with 600 meters to go, causing a boat-stopping crab in the F&M boat. The two crews finished out the race, and then re-raced the last 600 meters. The times where F&M: 2:05.7, Lehigh B 2:10.3
**In the Women's V4 race, Lehigh A and Iona B clashed blades 500 meters in to the race. Crews were realigned with the margins at the time of the clash. Thus, the times are for a shortened course of about 1300 meters.
Nice job by all crews handling the strong winds. Thanks to Iona and F&M for making the trip. Good racing all around.
