Conditions: Early races (V8&JV8) - Cross-headwind 3-4 mph with gusts up to 7-8 mph. Increasing up to 7-8 mph direct headwind consistently later in the morning against incoming tide and led to light chop in the V4.
Comments: In the varsity eight, the cross-headwind was consistently blowing Coast Guard into URI's lane; through first 500, brief oar contact, and Coast Guard finished the last 600 meters in URI's lane.
URI 3V raced in the Novice 8 event.
