Cayuga Sculling Sprints
September 24, 2016 - Ithaca, NY

Conditions: - All crews row a 2k time trial. -Based on the result of the time trial, crews are paired up for a 1k race, head to head. To make racing more exciting, the 1k pairings are made by time rather than by boat class. For instance, a quad might race a double, but both crews will really be competing with boats of the same class (quad with quads, double with doubles) for medals. -Final Results are based on a combination of both races. To get "overall time", we double the result of the 1k and then add it to the 2k time. This means that a crew can "upset" a crew that beat them in the 2k by having a better 1k.
