Conditions: Tail wind and current as the tide went out, fast conditions. Floating start.
Comments: In the Novice 8+ race USC A popped an oarlock about 600m into the race. They were able to recover and get the oar back in the lock but 3/4 pair was out for a number of strokes. USC made a strong push back into the race with LMU and ran level well past the thousand.
