Groton School vs. St. Mark's School
April 24, 2004 - Groton School, Nashua River
Submitted by Wayne Berger
Distance: 1200 meters
Conditions: Sunny, warm, with variable wind conditions. BB
Comments: The third and first boats started on the line, while the second and fourth boats were about a length past. At the start there was a moderate crossing head turning to a strong head wind at the 450 meter mark. This was especially tre for the first and secondbB boat races where it was gusting at 25 mph. Water was flat with the exception of the middle 400 meters where it was choppy (for the Nashua.)b Good racing by both crews. Coxswains did an excellent job steering the "Amazon."
