Subin Cup: Columbia v. Dartmouth (LW men)

April 26, 1998; Housatonic River, Derby, CT

Thanks to CU rower and RSR founder Dan Richman for the results.

Conditions: Flat water. Slight headwind.

Comment: The Subin Cup is named for Dartmouth alum, Columbia Law alum Bill Subin; he's also the man who taught me to scull. -Ed H.

Columbia continued to extend their lead over Dartmouth, and finished a
length and a half of open water ahead.

the last 1000 meters. Columbia pushed out to a little over a length in the
third 500m and expanded their lead to a length and a half by the finish.
