Ed, The Miller Cup at UCLA was cancelled today after one heat of the women's varsity 4 was run. Large swells were coming up the racecourse on Ballona creek aand swamped at least one crew preparing for the start of the second heat of the fours. Everyone on the swamped crew (San Diego St.) was OK, but officials and the regatta directors met and cancelled the rest of the program.
