Conditions: Conditions were fairly strong headwind, gusty. Good conditions for first 1500 but pretty choppy and increased headwind in last 500 meters.
Varsity 8 Brown 6:59.6 Virginia 7:04.2 Cornell 7:26.3 Comments: In Varsity race, all three crews were off the line well but it wasn't long before Brown and Virginia made it a 2 boat race. Brown surged in the 3rd 500 and held on\ for a comfortable 5 second lead. Second Varsity 8 Brown 7:14.0 Virginia 7:22.5 Cornell 7:36.4 Comments: In the JV race, it didn't take long for Brown to establish the lead which they extended as the race went on. Varsity 4 Brown 7:56.2 Virginia 8:06.5 Cornell 8:11.6 Comments: In the 1st Varsity 4 race, the Brown novices continued their dominance, defeating fresh Virginia and Cornell crews. The start was pretty even but before the 1000, Brown had established the lead. Second Varsity 4 Virginia 8:08.2 Brown 8:15.8 Cornell 8:26.3 Comments: In the 2nd Varsity 4, Cornell led off the start with all three crews evening up through the second 500. Around the turn at the 1000, the crews established the finishing order. First Novice 8 Brown 7:06.3 Virginia 7:21.0 Cornell 7:34.4 Comments: In the Novice 8 race, Brown took the early lead, with VA and Cornell staying pretty tight (VA 1 length up) until the last 500 when Virginia pulled out. Second Novice 8 Virginia 7:27.9 Brown 7:33.0 Cornell 7:43.7 Comments: In 2N race, 3 boats right together for 1st 500 then VA and Brown pulled away with Virginia gradually pulling away from Brown.
