California, Cornell and Stanford top the Seventh USRowing Coaches Polls

University of California held onto the top of the USRowing’s seventh regular season varsity men’s eight poll, while Cornell University continued to lead the lightweight men’s varsity eight poll and Stanford University topped the lightweight women’s varsity eight poll.
California earned all 15 first-place votes to rank first. University of Washington was second, Yale University was third and Princeton University and Harvard University followed in the top five.
In the lightweight men’s varsity eight poll, Cornell scored 10 first-place votes to rank first and Columbia University earned one first-place vote and followed in second. Princeton University was third while Yale University and Harvard University rounded out the top five.
Stanford continued to hold the top spot in the lightweight women’s varsity eight poll and earned all nine first-place votes, followed by Harvard-Radcliffe University was second followed by Boston University in third. Princeton University and University of Wisconsin rounded out the top five.
