California, Cornell and Stanford Top USRowing’s Fifth Regular Season Coaches Poll

University of California held onto the top of the USRowing’s fifth regular season varsity men’s eight poll, while Cornell University continued to lead the lightweight men’s varsity eight poll and Stanford University topped the lightweight women’s varsity eight poll.
California earned all 16 first-place votes to rank first. University of Washington was second, while Yale University was third. Princeton University and Harvard University followed in the top five.
In the lightweight men’s varsity eight poll, Cornell scored 10 first-place votes to rank first and Princeton followed in second. Columbia University earned one first-place vote and was third. Harvard ranked fourth and Yale and Massachusetts Institute of Technology tied for fifth place.
Stanford continued to hold the top spot in the lightweight women’s varsity eight poll with all 10 first-place votes, followed by Princeton in second and Harvard-Radcliffe University in third. Boston University and University of Wisconsin rounded out the top five.
