Washington, Cornell and Stanford Top Third USRowing Coaches Poll
April 15, 2015
The University of Washington held the top of USRowing’s third regular season varsity men’s eight poll, while Cornell University led the lightweight men’s varsity eight poll and Stanford University held the top of lightweight women’s varsity eight poll.
Washington earned eight first-place votes and University of California earned seven first-place votes to place second. Princeton University was third. Harvard University earned one first-place vote to place fourth, followed by Yale University in the top five.
In the lightweight men’s poll, Cornell scored seven first-place votes to rank first, while Columbia University earned four first-place votes to rank second. Princeton followed in third and University of Delaware and Harvard rounded out the top five.
Stanford took the top spot in the lightweight women’s varsity eight poll with seven first-place votes. Harvard-Radcliffe University earned two first-place votes to rank second. Princeton, Boston University and University of Wisconsin rounded out the top five.
