Washington, Cornell and Stanford Top the USRowing Week Two Polls

PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Washington held the top of the USRowing second regular season varsity men’s eight poll, while Cornell University topped the lightweight men’s varsity eight poll and Stanford University led the lightweight women’s varsity eight poll.
Washington earned eight first-place votes and University of California earned six first-place votes to place second. Princeton University was third. Harvard University earned one first-place vote to place fourth, followed by Yale University in the top five.
In the lightweight men’s poll, Cornell scored seven first-place votes to rank first, while Columbia University earned four first-place votes to rank second. University of Delaware was third. Princeton and Massachusetts Institute of Technology rounded out the top five.
Stanford earned four first-place votes and placed first in the lightweight women’s eight poll. Harvard-Radcliffe University earned three first-place votes and was second, followed by Boston University. Princeton University and Bucknell University rounded out the top five.
