USRowing Collegiate Poll May 2, 2012 Washington continued to top the USRowing men’s varsity eight poll, while Stanford ranked first in the lightweight women’s eight poll. The lightweight men’s eight poll has been delayed.
The top five in the men’s varsity eight poll remained the same. Washington received 11 of 13 first-place votes to once again take the top spot. Harvard ranked second, receiving the remaining two first-place votes. Brown ranked third, followed by California and Navy.
In the lightweight women’s poll, Stanford earned the No. 1 ranking with six of nine first-place votes. Wisconsin received the other three first-place votes to rank second. Bucknell, Radcliffe and Princeton rounded out the top five.
Harvard received nine of 11 first-place votes to rank first in the lightweight men’s eight poll. Dartmouth earned the other two first-place votes to rank second, followed by Georgetown, Princeton and Yale.
