CRCA/USRowing Coaches Poll - presented by Pocock Racing Shells April 7, 2010 The University of Virginia topped this week’s USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Coaches poll, while Western Washington University and Williams College claimed the top spots in the Division II and III polls, respectively.
After ranking second last week, the University of Virginia took the top spot in this week’s Division I poll. The Cavaliers received 14 first-place votes. The University of California ranked second, earning three-first-place votes, while Stanford University earned five first-place votes to rank third. Last week’s No. 1, Yale University, received the remaining three first-place votes to rank fourth. Brown University rounded out the top five.
Western Washington University was the unanimous choice in this week’s Division II poll, receiving all five first-place votes. Barry University ranked second, followed by Mercyhurst College.
For the third week in a row, Williams College was the unanimous top choice in the Division III poll, receiving all 10 first-place votes. Ithaca College ranked second, followed by Bates College, Trinity College and the University of Puget Sound.
