Yale, Western Washington and Williams Top Preseason USRowing/CRCA Women's Collegiate Rowing Polls

In Division I, Yale University, who won the varsity eight race at last year's NCAA Championships, earned 22 of 25 first-place votes to earn the No. 1 ranking. Brown University, with one first-place vote, ranked second, followed by the University of Washington, Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley. Stanford received the other two first-place votes.
Four-time defending champion Western Washington received five of six first-place votes to earn the top spot in the Division II poll. Dowling College and the University of California at San Diego tied for second place. Dowling received the other first-place vote.
Williams College received nine of 10 first-place votes to earn the top spot in the Division III poll. Williams won the Division III team title at last year's NCAA Championships, while Trinity College won the eights race. Trinity, who received the other first-place vote, ranked second in the preseason poll. Bates College, Ithaca College and the University of Puget Sound rounded out the top five.
The first regular season poll will be released on March 25.
