Washington, Stanford and Harvard Continue to Top USRowing Collegiate Polls
April 18, 2012
Washington received nine first-place votes to take the top spot in this week’s men’s varsity eight poll. Harvard ranked second, receiving the remaining four first-place votes. California ranked third, followed by Brown. Yale and Princeton tied for fifth position.
Stanford took the top spot in the lightweight women’s poll, earning nine of 10 first-place votes. Wisconsin received the other first-place vote and ranked second. Bucknell, Radcliffe and Princeton rounded out the top five.
Harvard received six of 11 first-place votes to rank first in the lightweight men’s eight poll. Yale earned four first-place votes to rank second, followed by Georgetown, Cornell and Dartmouth. Georgetown received the other first-place vote.
