Washington, Stanford and Harvard Earn Top Spots in USRowing Collegiate Polls

Washington received 13 of 14 first-place votes to rank No. 1 in the men’s varsity eight poll. California, which received the other first-place vote, ranked second. Brown, Harvard and Princeton rounded out the top five.
Stanford earned the No. 1 spot in the lightweight women’s eight poll, receiving seven of eight first-place votes. Harvard-Radcliffe received the other first-place vote and ranked second. Princeton, Bucknell and Boston University rounded out the top five.
Harvard topped this year’s first lightweight men’s eight poll, receiving nine of 10 first-place votes. Yale received the other first-place vote, ranking second. Cornell, Princeton and Columbia rounded out the top five.
