Washington, Stanford and Harvard Top USRowing Collegiate Polls
April 11, 2012
Washington received nine first-place votes to take the top spot in this week’s men’s varsity eight poll. Harvard ranked second, receiving the remaining four first-place votes. University of California, Princeton University and University of Wisconsin rounded out the top five.
Stanford took the top spot in the lightweight women’s poll, earning all nine first-place votes. Wisconsin ranked second, followed by Bucknell, Radcliffe and Princeton.
Harvard received seven of 11 first-place votes to rank first in the lightweight men’s eight poll. Yale earned three first-place votes to rank second, followed by Georgetown, Cornell and Princeton. Georgetown received the other first-place vote.
