This Saturday, for the first time in 23 years, the World Rowing Championships makes its triumphant return to the United States, and it all starts with a spectacular Opening Ceremony at Nathan Benderson Park.

The production team behind the Opening Ceremony is also pleased to announce that the highflying SOCOM Paracommandos from MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida will be on hand to dazzle the audience. In addition, the brave men and women of the Sarasota County Fire Department will serve as the Honor Guard.
