FISA, the International Rowing Federation today issued the FISA Council decision on the bids for the 2011 World Rowing Junior Championships and the 2010 World Rowing Under 23 Championships.
For both of these events, two bids were submitted to FISA earlier this year. These were:
2011 World Rowing Junior Championships:
Eton (Doney Lake), Great Britain
Hamburg, Germany
2010 World Rowing Under 23 Championships:
Brest, Belarus
Trakai, Lithuania
The Council has decided to present Brest and Eton as their selections for these above mentioned championships to the delegates of the 2007 FISA Ordinary Congress for vote on 3 September 2007 in Munich, Germany.
