Women's Four:
(Courtney MacIntosh - St. John's, NFLD, Lauren Wells - London, ON, Sandra Kisil - Hamilton, ON, and Isabelle Teolis - Gatineau, Que.) One boat to qualify to the semis: Canada placed 4th behind Romania, Germany, Ukraine, and then in the rep this afternoon, Canada led the field to the 1500m mark, but just missed the two spots to go to the A final. Ukraine's time was 7:28.71, The Netherlands came in 7:28.88 and Canada's time was 7:28.99!!
Lightweight women's double:
Lindsay Jennerich - Victoria, BC and Christine Bennett - Edmonton, AB, won their race to go directly to the final.
