In the final day of rowing, the Pan Am Canadian men's eight picked up a silver medal to give Canada a total of six rowing medals at these Games.
The men's eight was second to the U.S. (5:43.6) in a time of 5:46.0. Cuba took third in 5:48.
Member of the eight - a mix of lightweight and heavyweight rowers - are Iain Brambell of Brentwood Bay, B.C., Mike Simonson of Calgary, Alta., Mike Lewis of Victoria, B.C., Chris Davidson of Oakville, Ont., Neil Armour of West Vancouver, B.C. David Kay of Peterborough, Ont., Geoff Hodgson of Whitehorse, Yukon, Kevin Burt of Ottawa, Ont, and Dallas Smith of Squamish, B.C.
Canada’s other rowing medals came on Friday (gold and two silvers) and Saturday (gold and silver).
