Woodvale Events Managing Director, Simon Chalks comments:
"When I took over management of the Atlantic Rowing Race event from Sir Chay Blyths Challenge Business three years ago, I made a promise to the Ocean Rowing community hat I would develop the sport and make it available to a wider audience. I feel that we have more than achieved our promise.
"The Atlantic Rowing Race 2005 was a fantastic success for Woodvale Events and the Atlantic Rowing Race 2007 now promises to be the biggest race yet. Having reached our limit for entries in the Atlantic Rowing Race 2007 and not wanting to deter anyone from achieving their life long goal, we are very pleased to launch the sixth edition of this race early."
