Junior Men
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - USRowing's Junior Men's National Team Head Coach Evans Liolin has invited 59 athletes to attend the 2004 Junior Men's National Team Selection Camp this summer from June 14-July 12.
The athletes will be competing for spots on the junior men's national team, which will travel to the 2004 FISA Junior World Championships July 27-August 1 in Banyoles, Spain.
Seven athletes return from last year's junior national team including Charles Cole and Quinn Sivage from the silver medal-winning junior men's eight. Glenn Ochal raced in the men's double sculls at last year's junior world championships, while Bryan Geist, Matt King, Solon Wayne-Aposhian, and Max Wyatt return from the men's four with coxswain. In addition, Jared Altermink, Chris Carey, Mark Crocker, Pat Dewechter, Thad DuPrey, Anthony Emmett, Chris Hearne, Pat Hurley, Sean Hurley, Jesse Johnson, Carlos Montoya, Henrik Rummel, Kevin Song, Tom Goldner, and Dave Cleveland return to selection camp.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Forty-five high school athletes have been invited
to attend the 2004 Junior Women's National Team Selection Camp this
summer.
The women's selection camp is being held June 12-July 20 at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn., and the Dartmouth Boathouse in Hanover, N.H. Mindy Fiesler, who helped the women's eight take home a silver medal from last year's junior world championships, is the lone returning junior women's national team member. Molly Evjen, Molly Getz, Jessie McBride, Candence Nelson, and Stephanie Neiding also are returning from last year's selection camp.
Coaches include Steve Hargis, United States Coast Guard Academy; Kushlani DeSoyza, Oregon State University; and Linda Muri, Harvard University.
The athletes will compete for 15 spots on the 2004 USRowing Junior National Team that will race at the 2004 Junior World Championships July 25-August 1 in Banyoles, Spain.

Junior Women's Development Camp
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Thirty-three high school athletes have been invited to the 2004 Junior Women's Development Camp at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.
The camp will take place from June 20-July 25. All athletes will compete at the Independence Day Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa., and the USRowing National Championships in Indianapolis, Ind. Also, 11 athletes will be selected to compete at the CanAmMex Regatta in Canada in July.
Lexie Howard, Brittany Liljeqvist, and Robin Weber are returning to the development camp for a second year. Coaches include Liz Trond, Norwalk River Rowing Association; Eric Catalano, Saratoga Rowing Association; and Kate Maloney, Yale University.
