PRINCETON, N.J. ? USRowing is pleased to announce that 22 athletes have been accepted to the 2013 World University Games Selection Camp in Boston, Mass.
Hosted by USRowing Development Club Partner Community Rowing, Inc., the camp will be coached by Bruce Smith, CRI Executive Director, Bill Manning, Associate Head Coach of Harvard Men?s Heavyweight Crew, and Matt Lehrer, CRI Program Coordinator.
The camp will select the men?s eight and four crews that will compete at the 2013 World University Games July 6-8 in Kazan, Russia. In addition, the roster serves as the waitlist for the 2013 Men?s Under 23 Selection Camp.

The World University Games, also known as ?Universiade? is an international multi-sports event for university athletes which is organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The first World University Games took place in Paris in May 1923 at the initiative of Frenchman Jean Petitjean. From 1949, the Games were held under the auspices of FISU.
