"We had good performances today from our lightweight men's and women's doubles, and men's pair," said Peter Cookson, Rowing Canada's High Performance Director, "and saw improvement in our other crews that raced."
The lightweight men's pair - Simon Gowdy of Montreal, Que., and Josh Metcalfe of Walkerton, Ont. - was fourth in the rep, and do not advance to the medal rounds.
