After a busy winter of training, Rowing Canada Aviron's national senior program is now in high gear heading toward the 2008 Olympic Summer Games. Please note the following important dates for this season. Training and selection continues in Victoria, B.C. and London, Ontario.
-May 2 - Official announcement for the Lucerne World Cup Team
-May 30 to June 1 - Lucerne World Cup (www.worldrowing.com), Lucerne, Switzerland
-June 15 to 18 - Final Olympic Qualification Regatta (for crews that did not qualify based on 2007 World Championship results). Poznan, Poland.
-June 20 to 22 - Poznan World Cup (note: not all Canadian crews will participate in this regatta). Poznan, Poland.
-June 24 - Rowing Canada Olympic Team Announcement.
-August 9 - 17 - Olympic Games Regatta, Shunyi, Beijing, China
Note: Crews are subject to change until the final announcement on June 24.
