After dropping the F-Bomb repeatedly on camera during the BBC broadcast of The Boat Race, Cambridge coxswain Kenelm Richardson is angling for a gig on The Howard Stern Show. Richardson, who originally said he was misunderstood, and was using a cockney slang phrase for "let them come back on us, it's the gentlemanly thing to do," recanted this story and made a bid for the gig. "I just know American radio is ready for a Blue with a blue tongue. Bring on the strippers."
ClearChannel said they would ban the race from their stations. "It used to be such a nice, snooty affair, with acceptable behaviors like cutting corners, cutting people off, and cheating if possible," a ClearChannel spokesperson said. "Then that guy had to go and say that word. It's over."
