For the second year running, BBC America will broadcast live coverage of The Xchanging Boat Race, along with BBC World News and a host of other leading international television networks.
The screening on BBC America, which has an estimated audience of more than 68 million, will be at 12:30 EST on Saturday 26 March.
In addition to live domestic coverage on BBC One a two-hour programme runs between 15:45 and 17:45 the Race will be screened for the first time on BBC One HD. It will also be broadcast live throughout Europe and Asia on Eurosport and across Africa via the Supersport channel.
BBC Radio 5 Live is also broadcasting the Race live and it will be available online and via mobile phones.
There are five rowers from overseas taking part in the Race Australians Hardy Cubasch and David Nelson, American Derek Rasmussen and Canadian Geoff Roth in the Cambrige boat, plus Oxford's Swiss/German bowman Moritz Hafner.
This year's Race will also have a live Twitter feed and the official website (www.theboatrace.org) will offer a virtual programme for fans not able to join the crowds of spectators on the course which is iPhone and iPad compliant.
Last year, the Race was screened either live or in a highlights format in more than 200 countries around the world.
