Details of the forthcoming Club Fixtures for the 2010 Xchanging Boat Race were confirmed today, including the two main races Oxford v Leander on Saturday 20 March (15:15) and Cambridge v a Czech VIII on Wednesday 24 March (10:30).
Former Oxford Blue and four-time Olympic gold medallist Sir Matthew Pinsent will make his debut as an official race Umpire on Saturday when he takes charge of the contest between Isis and Leander 2 at 14:50. He will also umpire the Goldie v Queen's University Belfast race five days later at 13:00 on Thursday 25 March.
A strong Leander crew to take on the Dark Blues this Saturday includes three members of the GB eight that won silver at the last Olympic Games, plus four from the GB men's eight in 2009. The full Leander line up is as follows:

Cambridge take on a Czech crew next week, having raced Molesey on Sunday. The Czechs are led by Olympic silver medalist sculler Ondrej Synek. He is joined by the four that finished fourth in the 2009 World Championships, the current Czech pair and cox, plus the young rowers that took silver at the World Junior Championships last year.
