USRowing, the Philadelphia Scholastic Rowing Association and the National Scholastic Rowing Association are pleased to announce that the 2018 USRowing Junior B/C Challenge will be held Sunday, June 10, on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.
The event, which will take place in conjunction with the National Schools' Championship Regatta, will feature 1,500-meter races in 20 boat classes in the under 15 and under 17 age categories.
Events include the boy's and girl's single sculls, double sculls, quadruple sculls, four with coxswain and eight in both age categories. The Challenge is open to both scholastic and junior programs.
"The Philadelphia Scholastic Rowing Association and the National Scholastic Rowing Association are honored to collaborate with USRowing in hosting the Junior B/C Challenge in June," said Leslie Pfeil, president of the Philadelphia Scholastic Rowing Association. "These younger rowers are our future, and we look forward to offering them an exciting experience that is both fun and competitive."

Registration will open on April 1 via Regatta Central, with the initial entry deadline scheduled for May 30.
