PRINCETON, N.J. - More than 190 scullers from around the country will compete at the 2008 USRowing Fall Speed Order on Saturday at Carnegie Lake in Princeton, N.J.
The regatta, which is an opportunity for athletes with national team aspirations to test their speed, will feature both senior-level and junior-level racing in a head-race format. The men's race begins at 12:30 p.m., with the women's race following at 2 p.m.
On the men's side, 49 scullers have entered the senior open weight category. Twenty-eight senior lightweights are scheduled to compete, while 40 junior athletes are entered. On the women's side, the field includes 43 senior open weights, 10 senior lightweights and 21 juniors.
