Folks- Some row2k subscribers received a few odd emails after our mailserver burped this morning; a server glitch caused several erroneous emails to be sent to our mailing list early this morning. our sincere row2k apologies to all affected. i sent a version of the following note to a couple readers who wrote to let us know; thanks for the heads up!
The emails were part of a failed attempt to add a security layer to our newsletter list. We made a small error in the configuration on the row2k server, and it backfired for a bit, as you have witnessed personally! We were trying to guarantee that nothing like this ever happened, and instead caused it to happen ourselves; it is our fault entirely, a bit of a case of no good deed going unpunished, oof. We fixed the problem as quickly as possible this morning; you should see no further problems from our newsletter address, and you can just delete the mails.. Thanks again for writing, and I hope you are having a good and problem-free morning! Ed
