REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The online registration system works best with Firefox and Chrome.

Due to high demand, many camps fill prior to the registration deadline and early registration is recommended. Once a camp reaches capacity or the registration deadline, we are unable to add additional campers. Walk-up registrations are not accepted for any camp or clinic.

In the event a camp does not reach capacity, the following registration deadlines apply:

ROLE OF A COXSWAIN CLINIC | Virtual Clinic
Open to individuals entering grades 9-12 in September 2024
Location: Virtual via Zoom
Date of Clinic: Sunday, April 7, 2024
Clinic Time: 3:00pm - 6:00pm EST
Registration Fee: $165.00

Princeton Rowing will be hosting a coxswain specific virtual clinic, aimed at all high school aged coxswains.  The clinic is offered on Sunday, April 7, 2024.  The clinic aims to empower coxswains with knowledge and information as they navigate their role as a coxswain on their team.  Lead by a current Princeton Assistant Coach and former Division 1 Coxswain, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss a variety of topics specific to coxswains, including but not limited to; steering, practice/race prep, navigating the coxswain to rower and coxswain to coach relationship, race day execution, and more!  Question and answer period as well.

PREPARING FOR SPRING RACING SEASON CLINIC | Virtual Clinic
Open to individuals entering grades 9-12 in September 2024

Date of Clinic: Sunday, April 14, 2024
Clinic Time: 3:00pm - 6:00pm EST

Princeton Rowing will be hosting a coxswain specific virtual clinic, aimed at all high school aged coxswains. The clinic is offered on Sunday, April 14, 2024. The clinic aims to provide coxswains a better ability to approach and to succeed in their Spring racing season.  Lead by a current Princeton assistant coach and former Division 1 coxswain, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss Spring sprint racing specifics, including race prep, race planning, how to maximize your practice time, as well as steering, race day execution, and more!  Coxswains will be able to provide one audio recording (of a race or practice piece up to 10 minutes in length) and will receive written feedback.

**Please allow up to two weeks following the clinic for written feedback.  Feedback will emailed on a 1.5 page pdf.**

PRINCETON SUMMER ROWING CAMP | Overnight Camp
Open to individuals entering grades 9-College First Year in September 2024

Day Camper Fee: $1,150.00
Overnight Camper: $1,300.00

For day campers the fee includes instruction, lunch and a camp t-shirt.  For overnight campers the fee includes instruction, meals, housing and a camp t-shirt.

This camp offers 60 spaces for rowers and 8 spaces for coxswains.

A rower’s daily routine will include twice-a-day workouts on Lake Carnegie, introductions to effective ergometer workouts and testing methods, core strength training, technical sessions in the rowing tanks, and several guest speakers.  Speakers will cover a wide range of topics, including nutrition best practices, building better strategies for ergometer testing, the experience of rowing in the Olympics, and how to navigate the ever-changing recruiting process.  Coaches are available for daily one-on-one sessions to discuss how personal training and technical improvements will enable each rower to achieve his or her goals.  In addition, each rower will receive at least 60 minutes of direct video analysis and feedback during the week.

Coxswains are separated into their own group for daily instructional sessions. In addition, they are assigned to a boat for on-the-water training and races.  We can proudly say, without a doubt, that the Princeton rowing camps are not only the best camps for rowers, but also for coxswains.

PRINCETON HIGH PERFORMANCE SCULLING CAMP | Overnight Camp
Open to individuals entering grades 10-College First Year in September 2024

Day Camper Fee: $1,400.00
Overnight Camper: $1,600.00

For day campers the fee includes instruction, lunch and a camp t-shirt.  For overnight campers the fee includes instruction, meals, housing and a camp t-shirt.

This camp is only for rowers and will only offer 36 spaces for camp. Spaces for coxswains are not available for this camp.

This camp is for highly motivated rowers, specifically scullers, and includes a cross training twist. This is for experienced scullers who are adept at rowing in 1xs, 2xs, or 4xs.   Each day every camper will take part in at least one hands on instructional sculling session, followed by lunch, and then an off-the-water session that will include cycling, running, or swimming. This camp will run for four full days and the regimen will challenge even the most fit athletes out there. To ensure that each athlete gets maximum attention, the camp is capped at 32 registrants.

FACILITIES
All camps will be held on the Princeton University campus, one of the most beautiful and historic campuses in the world. Training sessions will be held at the Shea Rowing Center, home of the Princeton Tigers. The center includes moving water rowing tanks, a strength training room and an ergometer room. The facility is located on Carnegie Lake, a protected body of water, 3 miles long with a 4 lane buoyed race course.

Princeton University reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule any camp or clinic because of low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In the unfortunate case a camp or clinic is canceled, Princeton University will issue a full refund of the fees paid. Princeton University cannot be held responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses, including but not limited to; cancellation/change fees assessed by airlines, hotels, car services or travel agencies.
