Now in its 19th year, the HOCR Charity Program has raised over $1,000,000 for local charitable partners. We are thrilled to announce that 2017 was a record fundraising year with $106,000 committed to our three charitable partners: Cambridge Community Foundation, Community Rowing Inc., and the West End House Boys and Girls Club of Allston Brighton. But we aren’t done yet!

How to Bid
Want to celebrate on-site?
It isn’t too late to purchase your ticket to Evening on the Charles. We’ll have live music from SixFoxWhisky, seasonally delightful food from Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and adult beverages from Sierra Nevada and Halter Ranch wines. The event will be held at the Eliot Bridge Enclosure on Saturday, October 21st from 6pm – 9pm. All proceeds from this year’s Evening benefit the West End House Boys & Girls Club of Allston Brighton.
How does the HOCR Charity Program work?
Program participants are guaranteed entry into the event of their choice, provided they meet eligibility, entry fee, and deadline requirements. Any single, double, four or eight is eligible to apply to the Charity Program and the Regatta guarantees entry to the first 50 applicants. Participants commit to the following minimum fundraising requirements but are encouraged to fundraise beyond that level:
1x – $1250
2x – $2500
4+ or 4+/x – $3000
8+ – $5000
While the 2017 Charity Program is full, we encourage you all to apply next summer—secure your entry to the Charles and give back to our community!
