The Puerto Rico Rowing Foundation was well on its way to establishing a program that would develop athletes capable of international competition along with attracting young people to the sport. That changed when Hurricane Maria left the Island in ruins. Now they are working to re-group and need the rowing community's support and generosity. more

Oklahoma City University Student James Francis was having a solid season, not only at school, but at the 2018 World Rowing Under 23 World Championships, where he won a bronze medal in the light men's quad, when he learned last week that he had been named a finalist for this year's World Rowing 2018 Filippi Spirit Award. more
