MASTERS COACH OF THE YEAR
Lew Cuyler/Berkshire Rowing and Sculling Society
Brought rowing to the Berkshire area in Massachusetts for the first time 10 years ago, and the programs continue to grow. Every year, new people start rowing because of Lew's passion. A recognized rowing historian who will turn 80 next year, Lew wrote the definitive biography of Ernestine Bayer and is beloved in his community.Nancy Faigen/Potomac Boat Club
Outstanding season of results for the Men's Masters' Team including 10 gold medals and second place in both the men's and overall team points trophies at USRowing Masters Nationals. Cambridge won the overall points trophy (and men's point trophy) at USRowing Masters Nationals this year, scoring points with many lineups that had never rowed together before launching for the race.
