Rowing continues to provide a way for me to meet people of every generation
Hydrow sent gear and other rowing stuff to all the participants who joined in to #sharerowing at its best with the world; here are all their photos and captions. Thank you for joining in and congratulations!
The photo at the top of the feature was submitted by Stephen Grant of CalTech, who wrote the following:
"In a world where face-to-face interactions are becoming more infrequent and meeting new people is becoming more difficult, rowing continues to provide a way for me to meet people of every generation from every walk of life...all before the sun comes up."
Next, Zachary Keller writes:
"As a collegiate walk-on that was new to the sport, rowing surprised me with its vibrant community. Although it sometimes seems like training can be so solitary and individual, the sense of connection that I felt during competition was unlike any other sport. What I realized is that giving your full effort to cross the buoys is such a unique experience to rowing that it connects rowers across nationality, gender, age, and skill levels. Every minute I spend training I am never really alone; I have my boat, my team, and the entire rowing community behind me."

Another from Ren Heller states simply "Babes with blades!"
Babes with blades!
Thanks to everyone who played along, we hope you are enjoying the gear!
