The USA Junior national team had one of their best regattas ever, winning the overall medal table with seven medals, including two gold above for the JW4- and JM1x. Clark Dean, the USA men's single sculler won his second consecutive world title in Racice, CZE.

Additional medals won by the USA included four silvers (JM4+, JW2-, JM8+, and JW8+), and one bronze (JW4+).
